Pilates

Pilates is a method of therapeutic exercise that works by creating

  • a balance of strength and flexibility

  • increased body awareness

  • precise coordination

The core strength Pilates develops lifts weight out of our joints to counter the effects of gravity. The combination of strength and flexibility generate a strong but supple body that is balanced and coordinated.

The classical Pilates machines were created not only for extra resistance and stretch, but also to help put the body into positions it normally wouldn't be able to achieve on its own.

We offer private, duet and semi-private instruction on the equipment,  The smaller the group setting you choose to participate in, the more easily we can design a specific program for your individual needs.

Private Sessions:  $85-120/hr

Duet Sessions: $60-65/hr

Semi Private Classes: $33-40/class

Work with an apprentice teacher in training:  $12-50/hr

Breathwork

Breathwork classes are powerful for releasing anxiety, stress & tension, reconnecting with your body, increasing mindfulness, creating healthier subconscious patterns for how you experience life, creating momentum when "feeling stuck" in patterns that are not working and finding creative solutions.

We begin class with light shaking to rhythmic drum music—a playful, grounded way to release tension and signal to your nervous system that it’s safe to unwind. After that, you’ll settle onto your mat for a guided breathwork journey set to carefully curated music that uses intentional breath patterns, holds and releases to access your subconscious. You will receive gentle prompts and a guided meditation to reset your nervous system for increased self-love, acceptance, confidence, connection, gratitude, forgiveness and peace using techniques that maximize neuroplasticity.

Each person’s experience is unique—some feel tingles or warmth, others feel emotional release or deep peace. All of it is welcome, and you are supported every step of the way. A community circle is provided at the end of class for those who want to share their experience or connect.

2 hr Classes:  $35-40

1st Class is Free!

It’s an ideal practice for stress relief, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

This floor-based class is accessible for most people. Wear your most comfortable clothing; all props will be provided. You’re welcome to bring a small blanket, pillow, or eye pillow for added comfort.

Yin Yoga/Yoga Nidra is offered the 1st Sunday of every month.

Class is $25.

Strength In Stability Yoga

Strength in Stability yoga classes are meant to serve as a time to deepen your practice with key points of integral movement and guide the practitioner on concepts to play with in their own practice.

That being said, these are classes to guide the practitioner, meaning a person has a practice in the realm of Hatha Yoga, or a desire to begin a practice for self cultivation with awareness of integral movement and breath. It doesn’t have to be this Shadow Yoga’esq practice, just some shapes consistent with the larger Hatha Yoga system in order to bring the concepts and principles to light in one’s own practice.

Focus is on the energetic systems of movement and breath from the Nath Yogin perspective (beyond body mechanics taught in contemporary styles). How one incorporates their limbs (5) arrangement in all shapes with right action to circulate the motivating force of life, Prana.

The limb work, or peripheral body provides communication to the central system and vice versa. Principles of the bone, strength in stability, nervous system capacities, centralizing, marma, and others are woven in to provide the palate of desire for freedom to be tasted. The experience one is left with is an integration and meaning to pursue on own, as the traditional ways were guided.

Strength In Stability classes are best absorbed with a minimum of a month commitment (usually 4 sessions/month) to obtain some experience to make a decision to continue study with me.

Unless you have prior experience with the Shadow Yoga system, no drop ins are allowed.

One month of classes are offered at a sliding scale: $50-100.

Inquiries and interest are always welcome so please feel free to contact Shawn Flot. Experiencing is your best opportunity.

If you wish to find out more information or read what others have shared about their experience you can follow this link to his website: https://movingintoharmony.com/hatha-yoga/

Accessible for all bodies. These gentle lessions can be given lying on the floor, standing, or sitting in a chair and are explored in a pleasurable, easy-to-to manner.

Massage

Massage to support your movement.

Massage and movement work synergistically to create lasting change. Massage relaxes tight muscles, eases restrictions, and brings awareness back into the body - making it easier to move with control and confidence.

When paired with mindful movement, it helps you build strength, improve posture, and maintain the progress made in each session. Together, they unwind stuck fascia and tension patterns, allowing you to find your natural alignment and strengthen from a more stable foundation. When massage and movement work together, the body truly thrives.

Massage sessions range from $90–$120 for 60 minutes and $135–$140 for 90 minutes.

Alexander Technique

Through one-on-one private lessons using hands-on guidance through simple activities, students learn to change unconscious habits of stress, repetitive strain, and psychophysical tension patterns.

This is an unlearning and relearning process which is quite distinct from other forms of therapeutic movement, exercise, or physical therapy in that students learn first to consciously prevent their automated, reflexive responses and employ a process of consciously directed thinking in activity.

The results of developing the technique translate beyond any categories of activity and can be generally said to produce reliable conditions of poise, ease, creative self-expression, healthy psychophysical coordination and clarity.

1hr sessions range from $80-100
