Celina Reppond

Celina  Reppond has been teaching people to inhabit their bodies since 1998 when she received her Pilates teaching certificate from the Pilates Center of Boulder. After teaching in Boulder, London, and New York City, she opened her own studio in Manhattan, called Core Zone Pilates.

Celina received further certifications in the GYROTONIC® Method (2004), Kundalini Yoga (2005), Naam Yoga (2006), and Aerial Yoga (2015). She has owned and operated Inward Bound in Ashland since 2007.

Her first love is to teach people how to become acquainted with their physical and energetic bodies with strength, grace and ease. Her background in anatomy and dance provided a foundation for her work.

Her extensive experience working with injured bodies, coupled with inhabiting her own ever aging body has given her a keen awareness into injury, aging and healing. She views every injury and every aging year not only as an opportunity for greater knowledge of one’s own body but also as a chance to refine our experience within it.

Melanie Gillum

Melanie Gillum brings more than forty years of diverse yoga practice and a long career in fascial bodywork as an Advanced Rolfer.

Her background includes years of Iyengar practice before discovering Ashtanga, which led her to spend multiple six-month periods in India studying with Pattabhi Jois. She co-owned Denver Ashtanga Yoga for ten years before moving west and settling in Ashland.

Later, she traveled to Boulder to study with Brazilian chiropractor Francisco Kaiut in his only year-long American training. The Kaiut philosophy aligns perfectly with Melanie’s understanding of how fascial tension influences the nerves and bones. Through simple, accessible shapes combined with dynamic holds and deep relaxation, her classes invite the fascia to unwind and the nervous system to settle into calm balance.

Students experience greater mobility, relief from chronic tension, and a renewed sense of ease and connection—an exploration of how movement, stillness, and awareness restore the body’s natural intelligence.

Emily started dancing at the age of 6 and became a teacher of movement in her early 20’s. Her study of movement has been both practical and academic, earning her undergraduate degrees in Dance and Exercise Science from Skidmore College, an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from SDSU, and an M.S. in Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU.

She has been practicing both yoga and Pilates since 1999. In 2002 she became a certified Pilates instructor and shortly thereafter was inspired to become a physical therapist to better serve clients with a variety of musculoskeletal problems.

After working for many years in an orthopedic physical therapy clinic, she returned to the Pilates studio to use Pilates based movement training for both fitness and therapeutic purposes.

Emily is also a registered yoga teacher and incorporates the mindfulness and body awareness developed through her yoga and Pilates practices into all that she does.

Yoga and Pilates have been a great addition to manual therapy techniques and patient education in her practice of physical therapy. Emily strives to help others cultivate awareness in their own bodies and find strength, flexibility, ease, and joy in movement.

Penny Blakeney

Penny's love of movement disciplines began 30 years ago with her involvement in the study of Iyengar Yoga & dance at Creighton University & the University of Nebraska in Omaha, which began with ballet & later led her to a modern dance career where she met her mentor/teacher that taught all classes without mirrors in order to be in the body & feel the movement from within.

With the use of verbal imagery & cues, Penny developed her keen sense of the biomechanics of movement along with a strong intuitive ability to problem solve using the building blocks from the Pilates method.

In 1997 she began her practice & study of Pilates at a dance studio in Chicago taking mat classes for dancers. A year later Penny found a fully equipped Pilates studio & concentrated her focus on the study of the work that fit in with the background already set.

In 2001 she began her certification process to become a teacher of the Pilates method  through the Core Dynamics program with Michele Larsson, a second generation teacher who apprenticed with first generation teacher Eve Gentry.

In 2003 she took on another comprehensive program to further strengthen her understanding of the anatomy involved when teaching Pilates & movement to clients as well as the classical work established by Joseph Pilates himself.

She received her certifications from both schools in 2005 & 2006 after more than 1000 hours of study, practice & apprenticeship between 2 studios.

Later in 2007 she created the name "InSideOut Pilates" & opened her own studio in Chicago where she taught for 3 years on her own.

In 2010 she moved to Oregon & eventually found her way to Inward Bound Wellness in June of 2011 & continues to teach with passion & the desire to empower the students of Pilates with a greater understanding of their own bodies within the work.

Arianna Wells

Arianna uses her skills and personal experience to train and empower a wide range of clients, including those who are beginning their exercise journey, those who are overcoming or coping with physical injuries--whether they be orthopedic or neurological--and those looking to maintain and strengthen their physical wellbeing.

She began her dance studies at the age of 4 and continued to pursue her passion for movement at Los Angeles County High School for The Arts. During her studies as a dancer and recovering from various associated injuries Arianna decided to deepen her knowledge of anatomy and physiology by pursuing a BS in Kinesiology at Cal Poly Humboldt in 2014.

Her Pilates training followed as she began to teach clients how to rehabilitate using Pilates equipment and mindfulness techniques at a small physical therapy practice in Sebastopol, CA.

After birthing her first child in 2017 she became certified in teaching pre/postnatal Pilates with an emphasis on pelvic floor function. Subsequently, to enhance her manual therapy and rehabilitative techniques and continue her holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing, she gained a license as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Lane Community College in 2023.

As a result of Arianna's lifelong commitment to learning, skill-building, movement, and therapeutic exercise she has developed a keen eye for alignment and imbalance, and is attuned to the  needs and goals of each individual she works with.

Jenna Hill

Jenna Hill has spent over 30 years helping people feel healthier, calmer, and more connected to themselves. After working as a nurse practitioner and seeing the limits of traditional care for emotional wellbeing, she followed her curiosity all the way to Costa Rica — where she discovered the transformative power of breathwork.

Now a certified breathwork facilitator and advanced coach through Elemental Rhythm, Jenna creates deeply supportive journeys using intentional music, specific breath patterns, and guided prompts that help release old subconscious patterns. With this newfound awareness, she gently helps clients build healthier subconscious pathways through the science of neuroplasticity.

Her clients often share that they feel more self-compassion, love, clarity, confidence, peace, gratitude and connection. They are able to break old patterns — and are able to move forward with a renewed sense of hope. Jenna also weaves Internal Family Systems principles into her sessions, helping people understand and honor all the parts of themselves with respect and curiosity.

Nothing brings Jenna more joy than witnessing the incredible inner shifts that arise when people reconnect with their breath and step into their most authentic selves.

Deborah Mink

Upon ending her elite gymnastics career, Deborah Mink began the inquiry of how to move with more wisdom to relieve pain. This inquiry led to studying modern dance which enhanced the idea that moving the body freely without pain was  possible with new knowledge and determination.

Pilates has helped her to find freedom in her body amidst the  scoliosis and chronic pain she has experienced.

Deborah is currently an apprentice pilates teacher at Inward Bound.  She is grateful to serve the community and help others to discover joy through the strength that comes with this practice.

Cheri Theobald

Cheri’s yoga journey began more than twenty-five years ago, when she first stepped onto the mat seeking grounding amid the pace of everyday life. What began as a simple physical practice soon unfolded into a profound exploration of mindfulness, self-compassion, and the art of aging with strength and grace.

Since completing her first yoga teacher training in 2002, Cheri has devoted herself to continued study. She has earned more than 300 hours of Yoga Alliance–accredited certifications and pursued specialized training in Yin Yoga, Menopause Yoga, Senior Yoga, and Guided Meditation. With each new modality, she has deepened her commitment to helping students experience the restorative power of mindful movement.

Cheri believes that yoga is truly for everybody—and that it can be a steady, nurturing companion through every season of life. Her teaching blends mindfulness, gentleness, and a touch of humor, creating an inclusive space where students can reconnect with themselves, find ease in their bodies, and cultivate a sense of inner peace.

Based in Ashland, Oregon, Cheri guides weekly low-cost Senior Yoga classes, a monthly 90-minute Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra practice, and a series of seasonal Yin Yoga workshops. You can also find her guided meditations on Insight Timer.

Nothing brings her more joy than witnessing students rediscover their resilience, vitality, and natural radiance through yoga and meditation. Cheri continues to be inspired by the way intentional practice supports healing, well-being, and a vibrant, empowered approach to aging—both on and off the mat.

Michelle Dingivan, LMT, discovered her passion for structural bodywork when she realized how deeply targeted therapeutic touch could influence the body. Specializing in structural release and restorative techniques, she combines a clinical understanding of anatomy with a grounded, attentive presence.

Shawn Flot

I consider myself a guide rather than a teacher. My offerings are centered around how to thread the potential of a soulful-spiritual practice with the body-mind consciousness living a modern life. A practical means sharing concepts and principles of how this body operates beyond mechanics, that transcend and support the shapes in the Hatha Yoga practice.

The guidance allows you to discover your life supporting capacities that help build and sustain the life force energies for everyday living, and help support an intelligent progress along the arduous journey of a spiritual path. I enjoy sharing ways I myself have been given and practiced for many years.

I’ve been blessed to receive the guidance from Sundernath & Emma Balnaves - founders of the School of Shadow Yoga, from the shared wisdom of the Nath Yogins.

It is through right action to arrange and practice efficient shapes and methods that cultivate your vessel; through study of self threshold and potential to gain a meaningful and closer proximity to the omnipresent source of all life.

My classes are best absorbed with a minimum of a month commitment (usually 4 sessions/month) to obtain some experience to make a decision to continue study with me. Unless you have prior experience with the Shadow Yoga system, no drops ins are allowed.

Inquiries and interest are always welcome so please feel free to contact me. Experiencing is your best opportunity. If you wish to find out more information or read what others have shared about their experience you can follow this link on my website: https://movingintoharmony.com/hatha-yoga/
